About the DPM Mentors Network
What was to start out as an electronic conversation naturally morphed into students desiring to see, in person, the day-to-day clinic operations of a busy DPM.
Year over year, AACPM applicant statistics show that DPMs are the most effective source of drawing applicants to the profession; the Network seeks to enhance the current program.
Today, the Mentor’s Network is a state-of-the-art matching program that is geared towards pairing students with specific career questions or specialization requests with DPMs who have specific skills or backgrounds.
We’ve expanded our network to include other partners, such as undergraduate pre-health advisors, science faculty and student organizations to assist with speaker requests and specific outreach events. Our expanded Advisor TookKit is loaded with new ideas for helping advisors with introducing students unaware of the career choices podiatric medicine to the discipline.
